| The Quilted Valley was created to merge my love of quilting and fiber art with my passion for Vermont landscapes. I am a native of the breathtaking Mad River Valley, located in the heart of North Central Vermont. I began quilting in the mid 1990's and soon found that landscape quilts, realistic quilts and art quilts were my passion. They are made entirely out of fabric and embellishments, using both commercial and hand painted fabrics. This quilted fiber art is intended to be displayed on the wall as an art piece. |

I am fascinated by realism in fiber art. Whether it is a portrait of a person or a flower or a landscape, I always find
myself drawn to art that involves realism in some form. Many of my art quilts are inspired by photos that I take of the world
around me. I love working with color and different techniques. My passion for Vermont seems to influence most of my work. I make landscape quilts and t-shirt quilts by commission.
