The photo of Breckenridge was taken August 25, 2002. It was the first snowfall on the Breckenridge Mountains in Colorada for that year. The nights were already getting crisp and the leaves on the trees were beginning to change into their fall hues. The mountains in the distance show what was to come, a cold winter with heavy snowfall and great ski conditions. It may have still been August but winter was officially here.
